We are recruiting for a

Full Time Call Center Pharmacy Technician

to join our growing team in

Louisville, KY

. Candidate will be responsible for receiving inbound calls from long term care facilities. We are looking for a pharmacy technician to operate in our call center working a

7on/7off third shift between the hours of 6:00pm â€" 6:00am.

Essential Functions:
Fielding in bound calls from nursing center personnel after pharmacy closing hours.

Assists the Pharmacist in facilitating prescriptions, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.

Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system.

Communicates with nursing center personnel, other customers including internal customers and back up pharmacies in a pleasant and professional manner.

Facilitates the filling of medications by back up pharmacies.

Facilitates the delivery of medications by delivery vendors.

Follows up with nursing center personnel to ensure the delivery of medications.

Must be able to work multiple tasks at once.

Knowledge of Pharmacy Data Entry and / or IV experience is a plus.

Types prescription information to produce labels.

Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy technician certified in appropriate state.

Minimum six months of related experience in data entry

Excellent data entry skills

Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines

Must be able to work third shift
