Description: The Manager/Dir! ector, Pharmacy Clinical Services will perform in a technical and administrative role supporting Corporate Pharmacy Management, Director of Pharmacy Personnel, Director of Information Technology, CFO, President/CEO, and store pharmacy personnel. This position will be bonus eligible.

Essential Duties:
Serve as Fruth Pharmacys expert on Pharmacy Clinical Services Champion Fruths Immunization Program
Champion Fruths Medsync Program

i. Initiate and Develop Program
ii. Rollout program to all Locations
Champion Fruths in-store health events
Champion Fruths out of store health events
Champion Fruths Medication Therapy Management (MTM) efforts
i. Own vendor relationships with MTM partners (i.e., Outcomes)
ii. Own vendor relationships with Adherence partners (i.e., Adheris)
iii. Develop efforts to ensure Fruth is Best in Class
Be a lead for Fruths role in the Face to Face PEIA program
i. Assist with training new st! aff to expand program
ii. Personally see patients
iii.! Precept Pharmacy residents under Face to Face guideline
Provide analytics and findings on clinical programs as warranted and requested
Establish a program for staff development and continuing education for pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians. Develop Training programs for implementation by Pharmacy Operations Staff in all areas of pharmacy
Be a Lead Trainer for training programs related to clinical services
Own partnership with vendors to ensure proper tracking and delineation of training
Monitor training completion by all staff to support required compliance

Champion Fruths relationships with Schools of Pharmacy Manage and Maintain Co-faculty positions
Precept and maintain residency program with UC

i. Obtain and maintain accreditation for the UC Pharmacy Resident position
Continually seek and implement opportunities to grow and strengthen relationships with schools of pharmacy.
Seek and Secure Grants to! support Fruths partnerships with Schools of Pharmacy and our Hospital/Health System Partners
Seek and Implement partnerships with local hospital and health-system partners in development of partnerships and ACO-type models.
Lead Fruths Pharmacy Intern Program Work with Pharmacy Leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive pharmacy intern program
Develop and implement a curriculum for each year or position within the program
Lead panel on decisions related to succession of a intern throughout the program

Work the Third Party team as it relates to adherence and clinical programs with insurers, businesses, or the government
Focus on Business Development Activity Explore, recommend, and present business development opportunities
Own and develop relationships in communities that drive business opportunities
Partner with all Fruth personnel to support business opportunities with clinical aspects (i.e.; Immunizations, MTM, Medication Sy! nc, Counseling)

Must maintain status as a certified immunizer ! and participate in immunization activities as required Align with a University or APhA directly for certification as a Immunization Trainer
Align with the American Red Cross or AHA for certification as a CPR instructor

10. Use and Maintain Microsoft Outlook Calendar for all appointments, enabling edit/view access for appropriate staff as directed
11. Travel
Attend industry events as directed (periodic overnight travel required)
Visit Store locations as needed
Visit local business, hospital/health-system, physician partners as needed
12. Project Management
Lead and Manage projects as directed

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Manager/Director, Pharmacy Clinical Services must possess the following qualities, including, but are not limited to:
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
Minimum 2 years experience as pharmacis! t in a retail pharmacy setting
Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a pharmacist in West Virginia and Ohio If not licensed at hire, must complete licensure requirements within 90 days of hire.
Completion of a Community Pharmacy Residency a plus, but not required
Strong computer skills which include proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processor programs
Exceptional communication skills with all levels within the organization.
Team focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment.
Open to change and is self-motivated to make a significant difference to the business.
Deadline driven individual with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a given time period.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to communicate and drive action with all persons
Self-motivation to ensure best in class knowledge of law and policy

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to calculate a discount % amount. Ability to perform these operations using units of U.S. currency.

R! easoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Training: Complete Companys training, including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service training, and safety training. Associates must be at least 18 years of age to work as a Manager/Director, Pharmacy Clinical Services, must have a high school diploma or certificate of high school equivalence, required college degree, passed a background check and drug test to begin employment with Fruth. Candidate must possess and maintain a Drivers License in accordance with the laws in state of residence. Position involves a substantial amount of local travel, roughly defined at 2 hour radius from the corporate office location. A felony conviction or federal healthcare program exclusion status of any ki! nd will disqualify an applicant from employment.
