is a 331-bed! , full-service hospital, founded by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in 1874. SMEH offers a full range of vascular, orthopaedic, cardiac, medical imaging, surgical and emergency services, a wound healing center, sleep disorders center and has three medical plazas on campus to provide office space for a wide array of physicians representing a number of specialties.

Additionally, SMEH is home to Jewish Bariatric Care, the region’s only weight-loss management program utilizing the Lap-Band® System and The Women’s Center, a state-of-the-art diagnostic facility specifically for women.

Under the supervision of the Retail Pharmacy Manager and/or pharmacist, the Coordinator, Retail Pharmacy Services acts as a liaison with JHSMH team members, patients, visitors, physicians, and others to coordinate the effective and timely provision of the delivery of retail pharmacy services.

The objective of this position is to assist patrons with convenient and e! fficient access of medications.

The coordinator will ! interact with discharge planning and utilization management as needed to identify methods to constantly improve services and incorporation into the activities on the medical campus.

Additionally the coordinator delivers medications, supplies, and equipment to retail pharmacy patients, their families, team members or others within the JHSMH system. Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of deliveries and reports of area serviced and volumes for tracking and trending.

The position of coordinator is vital to the functions of retail pharmacy services as it develops and maintains working relationships with other departments that rely on the services provided.

The coordinator participates in marketing activities relative to retail pharmacy services and the mission of JHSMH.

Qualifications

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.

Required Experience:
Prior experience in retail pharmacy ! or related field preferred.

Customer Service Experience preferred.

Acceptable Equivalency:
None

Licensure:
None

Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personality types. Working knowledge of retail pharmacy services preferred. Excellent customer service skills are required.

Marketing skills preferred. Excellent math skills.
