Fulfillment Technician

Assists the pharmacist in daily activities of dispensing medications and general operations of the pharmacy department. Prepares the comp! leted prescription for outbound shipment to the patient.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accept completed prescriptions as presented by the fulfillment automation system
- Print or compile pre-printed material as required by each order along with a shipping label
- Generate shipping manifest and label, using customer driven shipping requirements.
- Fulfill manual dispense/low volume orders on a timely basis, work with call center techs/Pharmacists to ensure that all orders are processed daily
- Follow program specific SOPs to ensure products are correctly packaged and shipped with program specific printed materials/supplies
- Perform daily/weekly assignments as delegated by Pharmacist â€" Vial Labeler, Wall Replenishment, Cannister Station, Bulk Picking Station, Packing Stations, international shipments
- Order replenishment drugs to stock shelves as needed
- Check and restock supplies
- Clean! program area daily â€" sweep, take out trash, etc.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Internal/External Contact:
Works with internal departments at all levels to assure smooth and accurate fulfillment operations.
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required:
6 months â€" 1 year as a pharmacy and or fulfillment technician working in a retail, hospital or home health care environment or high volume pharmacy operation. 1-2 years experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required (except where noted as preferred):
Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
Position will require individual to stand for approximately 100% of the workday. Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs. Ability to correctly input data into a computer. Abil! ity to communicate effectively with other staff members and/or vendors, whether in person, on the telephone, or through correspondence.
