Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience.
Responsible for achieving business objectives by maximizing product share and/or sales goals for the key LTC Pharmacy, LTC Prescriber, LTC Facility, Systems of Care, and/or Infusion Center accounts assigned. This position is responsible for enhancing NPC relationships with key Long Term Care, Systems of Care, and/or Infusion Center customers and must align key institutional account strategies with national and designated area business strategy.
- Meet designated LTC Pharmacy, LTC Prescriber, LTC Facility, Systems of Care, and/or Infusion Center sales targets, reflecting sales volume and market share
- Provide high level clinical educa! tion and product promotion to key prescribers, physician group! s, LTC Mid-levels, LTC Pharmacists, LTC Facility personnel, Systems of Care account decision makers, and other key decision makers within designated key accounts
- Manage operating budget and allocate resources within bounds set by the Area Team Leader, KAM, Primary Care BU
- Manage relationships and exhibiting opportunities with designated, key professional associations
- Partner with MDs, ABLs, FF, PC BU KAMs, and USMM KAMs counterparts efficiently and effectively - Develop and implement strategic planning and collaboration across designated areas within the Primary Care BU
- Must develop and drive effective LTC, Systems of Care, and/or Infusion Center account plans for targeted accounts and geographic areas
- Must embrace a culture of collaboration amongst all key NPC counterparts and colleagues
- Partner with USMM, ADNA team to appropriately and effectively manage NPC approved contracts for each assigned key account
- Ana! lyze all available sales data and market trends in assigned accounts for key NPC product and competitors, must have the ability to initiate, adjust, and adapt account plans swiftly and accordingly
- Must ensure appropriate communication and transparency of all account related activities to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with other NPC field forces where appropriate to identify opportunities to optimize strategic account plans
- Secure product access, implement competitive response/pull-through strategies, maintain and grow key relation-ships, and resolve reimbursement issues with third-party as appropriate - Champion the LTC, Systems of Care, and Infusion Center account needs:
- Look for opportunities to identify unmet customer need; develop strategic opportunities for new channel specific tactics
- Partner with Area Team Leader, KAMs to champion channel specific needs, strategies, and tactics Must reside within close proxim! ity to Primary Care Area Geography assigned and be able to travel withi! n.
- Comply with all credentialing requirements for any healthcare institution (e.g., hospital) which is part of the field associateâs call plan, including, among other things, routine background checks, medical testing (i.e., Tuberculosis test) or proof of immunizations, training on facility policies, and adherence to confidentiality and/or HIPAA agreements.
Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred Minimum of 5 years commercial pharmaceutical experience desired with multi-functional experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in account or sales management
- Experience in LTC, Systems of Care, and/or Infusion Center account and market segments.
- Prior experience promoting Exelon Patch or Reclast preferred
- 1st line manager experience preferred with significant demonstration of peer leadership and project man-agement
- Proven ability to establish and cultivate key ! customer relationships
- Strategic and analytical thinking, as demonstrated by key projects/initiatives
- Strong cross-functional leadership, and ability to col-laborate effectively with various groups Specific Professional Competencies:
- Strong financial acumen and ability to discuss contracts with key LTC pharmacy customers, Systems of Care, and Infusion Center customers as appropriate and as assigned
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

- Solid track record on compliance and ! strong and through understanding of the full range of sales and business compliance issues
- Extensive experience in Medicare/Medicaid/Managed care reimbursement
