Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and three years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NC.
Position Description
The School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Clinic Associate Senior. Selected candidate will serve as dental assistant in the student clinics of the School of Dentistry. Work with the School's Oral Medicine faculty, nurse practitioner faculty, community physicians and pharmacists to communicate the needs of patients who require medical consultations. Retrieve, track and forward information related to patients' laboratory results, medical tests and medications, using knowledge of dental procedures to communicate planned dental treatment to the outside health care providers. Use electronic health record to schedule and track patient appointments. Perform chairside dental assisting duties, using proper infection control standards.
