Job Title: Director, Pharmacy Services Requisition Number: HRReq010789Job Category: Healthcare - Other Department: PharmacyBusiness: ABSG-USBioservicesLocation: Brooks, KY Position Description Summary: Under general direction of the Vice President, Operations, maintains direction and oversight of branch operations and clinical teams to attain area goals and objectives. Identifies, communicates and directs critical activities that will enhance operations and clinical performance with the branches.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees pharmacy business operations policies and procedures for the Company; establishes goals and objectives for the department; implements strategic plan to reach those objectives in conjunction with VP, Operations. Tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports opportunities, trends and inconsistencies as required and follows up on implementing potential improvement plans. Profit and loss analysis of branch operations. Expense control and cost cap management. Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations. Fosters intra-division communications. Performs related duties as assigned. Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience including at least two (2) years experience at a senior management level. Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) required.Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with staff; innovative and professional Understand specialty pharmacy operations and associated finances. Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent clinical, leadership and presentation skills Superior communication skills, both oral and written Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Good analytical skills Working knowledge of computers in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs
