CTT Medsearch has an opening for an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Director in the Coumbia, South Carolina Area.
The Clinical Pharmacy Director Oversees the mid-size hospital to see that patient pharma! ceutical needs are effectively met. Establishes policies and procedures, standards and objectives for the provision of services and coordinates with other departments to provide maximum level of service to patients and hospital staff.
As a Clinical Pharmacy Director , your duties will include a variety of tasks such as:
Selects, trains, orients and provides overall supervision to assigned personnel; developments, recommends and implements operating policies, systems and procedures; reviews and evaluates performance and recommends personnel action such as merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions Answering & directing all incoming phone calls within the department
Participate in the development of departmental goals and organizational structure.
Develops and recommends the departmental operating budget and insures that the department operates within the budget.
Responsible for the recommendations to the capital committe! e, preparation and maintenance of departmental reports includi! ng productivity and periodic reports to top management.
Insures delivery of quality pharmacy services for inpatients, outpatients and employees.
Directs and coordinates all activities in the hospital pharmacy including purchasing, receiving, storing, compounding and dispensing drugs. Supervises inventory control to meet patient needs.
Consults with and advises medical staff personnel regarding utilization of drugs and pharmaceutical. Keeps abreast of latest developments concerning new drugs or developments reported from research laboratories regarding drug usage.

Clinical Pharmacy Director Requirements:
This position requires a PharmD. Must be a registered pharmacist in the state of South Carolina (or can be obtained).
Two years supervisory experience is required
