Nealy Pierce, LLC has been retained by a Prominent 450+ bed Hospital in the Southern US that is looking to hire a Director of Pharmacy. This recently updated Hospital has a very modern pharmac! y with cutting-edge technology that rivals that of many of the larger hospitals in the country. Located in a mid-size town, they are a major Trauma center that is very strong in Cardiac, Ortho and Cancer treatment. The position involves leadership of the entire pharmacy department with support from an Operations Manager, Clinical Manager, Informatics Pharmacist, and others while overseeing 20-25 full-time pharmacists, 18-20 pharmacy techs, a Pharmacy Residency Program and several off-site clinics and campuses. Responsible for executive level representation among various committees an! d leadership programs, will focus on the continued growth and ! development of the pharmacy and pharmacy programs. Experience in a large hospital is a plus, and leadership experience within a hospital is a requirement, though previous director level experience is not required.
