Kelly Healthcare Resources is seeking a Contract Pharmacist for an insurance company in Louisville, KY. In this role you will review provider medication requests (prior authorization, step therapy, dispensing limit, tier exceptions, non-formulary, duplicate therapy, etc.) based on established Pharmacy policies and guidelines.

Other duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with network participation, care with

specialty networks, providers and using your knowledge of pharmacy plan design.

• Recommend services for Insurance Plan members

utilizing alternatives available within the community and nationally.

• Identify potentially unnecessary services and care

delivery settings, and recommend alternatives if appropriate by analyzing clinical protocols.

• Examine clinical programs information to identify

members for specific case management and / or disease management activities or interventions by utilizing established screening criteria.

• Respond to pharmacy related clinical and/or benefit

issues from others within the organization, such as customer service, market representatives, and medical directors.

• Conduct secondary pharmacy reviews, on escalations.

Requirements:

• 3+ Years Pharmacy Experience
• Licensed in KY
