Our client is looking for Director of Pharmacy Services .
The ideal candidate will reside in the greater Louisville, KY area and must be an RPh or Pharm D with operational management experience â€" preferably with experience managing LTC pharmacy. Other “post- acute care†pharmacy operations and management experience is acceptable. Individuals with appropriate experience and interest who can relocate to Louisville (with company assistance), are encouraged to apply. This is a key position as client is undergoing steady growth
Position Overview: Responsible for the day-to-day operations., supervising all Pharmacists, Technician Staff, Data Entry, Customer Care/Triage, IV Services, Delivery, Pre-Pack, and Purchasing.
As an essential member of the location management team, will be respons! ible for ensuring operations of business is conducted within b! udget while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsible for strategic decisions such as determining appropriate operational staffing levels, new business, and technology enhancements to improve efficiency, scheduling of licensed staff, regulatory guidelines, regulatory controls appropriate to business.
The pharmacy will service multiple nursing homes/chains, as well as other entities.
