Kelly Services is seeking a contract Pharmacist for an insurance company located in Louisville, KY.
Duties:
- Participate in the preparation of prescriptions via ! a highly automated system.
- Review of prescriptions for accuracy of entry appropriateness of therapy.
- Pours, counts, mixes, compounds, and verifies prescriptions for correctness and accuracy.
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal requirement as well as company policies and procedures.
- Meet designated productivity rates. Interact with fellow health care team member.
- Bachelors or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Active pharmacy license in the state that facility is located.
- Ability to participate in federal prescription programs.
- Computer System knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in mail order and or retail setting.
- Candidates must exhibit strong professional communication skills.
- A potential candidate should have ease in duty flexibility and be able to quickly change from one task to another.
- Have! an understanding of multistate pharmacy laws.
- Abilit! y to work with a team of pharmacists and guide techs.
- Ability to utilize time in an efficient manner, in certain instances under critical time limitations.
- Ability to evaluate appropriateness of dosage, directions, therapy, and DUR.
- Self directed but also work well with a group.
