Location:

• Louisville, KY (East-Central, easy access)

Hours:

• All work is done on-site
• 9-5 Monday thru Friday
• No weekends or holidays
• Paid on an hourly basis
• Will either be a direct-hire or Temp-to Perm position! "Temp-to-perm" means that after approximately 12 weeks, the client may transition you to a full-time employment position!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be willing to lead when needed, to assist supervisors and pharmacists in a teamwork approach, and yet be willing to take specific direction as requested

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALITIES:

• Pharmacy technician experience in compounding various forms and formats of medicatons is preferred
• STERILE COMPOUNDING (like IV) experience preferred.
• Portrays a positive image by personal example
• Good at team work, learning a! ll roles in the pharmacy.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• GOOD MEMORY SKILLS / QUICK LEARNER
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) preferred
• Detail orientation, results orientation, teamwork and oral communication!
• Drug-Free and clean background checks
• Good and relevant supervisor-based references
• Must have a checking account for ACH of payroll (pay is every other Friday for work done thru the previous Sunday). We do not pay in cash or cash cards.
• Must communicate well with us (the staffing agency) via email.
• Must be able to dress according to pharmacy policy (usually scrubs, close-toed shoes)
• Once you commit to a shift, we will expect you to stick to it. If you need to depart, please allow for 2-4weeks for adequate departure notice.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS (With or without the aid of mechanical devices and/or reasonable accommodation):

• Lift to waist heig! ht and carry up to 15 pounds for approximately 100 feet, on occasion.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift, ability to read, write and communicate very fluently in English. Occasional climbing, bending or stooping.
