Pharmacy Technician

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Description: C&C Pharmacy is presently looking of Pharmacy Technician right now, this occupation will be presented in Kentucky. We provide extremely personalized service and are appreciated by the patients and physicians we serve.

Candidate must have prior experience. The current opening is for a mid-day shift 1pm to 7pm Monday thru Friday and occasional Saturday shifts (10am to 2pm).

Job Purpose:
Assist Pharmacist in the data entry, prescription preparation and delivery of medications to patients.

Duties:

• Helps pharmacists and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities.
• Maintains records by recording ! and filing physicians' prescriptions.
• Ensures medicat! ion availability by delivering medications to patients.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
