Responsible for procurement process of the company.
- The principal function of any Procurement Executive is to source and purchase goods and services.
- You will work with Technical Manager to source the requirements from various vendors who could be a OEM anywhere across the globe, a vendor in India or local market or can be from Alang Ship breaking industry.
- You will be expected to seek out new suppliers in order to ensure the best possible goods and services are being obtained at the best possible price.
- You will also maintain & build database of the new suppliers along with their specialization.
- You will also be responsible for logistic which is connecting to the ships across the globe thru forwarder. As the company is dealing with Ships, deadlines for logistics are highly paramount.
- You will also coordinate with our service team in case of procurement of 2nd hand spares for the required overhauling or spares required for reconditioning.

Key skills and qualifications
- Ideally you must be graduate in science stream, diploma or degree level would be preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge in understanding the type of spares/equipment’s being sourced is a must.
- Commercial skills to understand the pricing and judging the reasonability is must with ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- You must be a highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and form relationships on behalf of the company.
- Work under pressure and to tight deadlines for the procurement of goods and services.
- You must be able to operate Microsoft Windows Office Suite or having experience on working on any kind of software to perform your duties will assist you in learning company working software’s for procurements.
- Understanding on supply chain process is must and in shipping industry is advantage.
Salary 30K pm/ Work location- Wagle estate, Thane.
